Meeki & Braya is a web serial story updated Wednesdays and Saturdays. The narrative follows Meeki as she befriends strange allies and struggles to fight against a politically ambitious assassin.

Although I did spend a few days fooling around with some things after releasing Issue 1, it quickly became time to work on Issue 2. With only one month per issue, I knew that I couldn't fool around much longer. I have to get planning and writing with all haste. To make sure that I make at least a small amount of progress each day, I'm going to try making regular progress reports. I'll post my thoughts here whenever I encounter something that I think needs to be said. As a rule, I will never skip more than one day at a time.

So what is going on? After dealing with some semi-unrelated affairs for a number of days, I began to work on Issue 2.

The most verbose of my planning materials is a regular word processor document. It contains a large deal of information mainly related to the characters and the plot. Because it became outdated in the process of writing Issue 1, I had to modify things to be a little more current. The characters' profiles needed the most work, as the characters are most important in a work like this. I made them specific to the next issue rather than the overall story. It was more to assess how the characters had changed, but I did speculate on upcoming issues. I'll probably have to do more of that.

There isn't much else to report today. Work is going smoothly and I'll be writing the draft right away. I'm set to finish by the 23rd at the latest, which means I'll be writing about five pages per day on average. Stick around for tomorrow's post where I'll detail the terrible struggles as I face them.
