Chapter 15 is released: Time is running out until Meeki and her friends are to face their enemy, and Meeki is nervous. She goes to meet Lucifer in hopes that even a short talk with him will help pass the time.

My preview copy of Issue 2 was been shipped on Friday. I should get it somewhere near the middle of next week. If the cover prints to a satisfactory quality, it will go on sale as soon as possible. I hope you will consider buying a copy.

I made the cover using Xaos, a fractal generator. It uses the standard Mandelbrot set with only two different options set. Seasoned users of Xaos will probably know these options immediately, but I'll leave it a mystery for the rest. I edited the picture further in GIMP in order to give it that fuzzy blue background as well as that luminous blue effect in the center. Isn't it nice that someone like me, talentless at most forms of art, can make something nice like that? I guess most real artists would probably laugh at me for suggesting that I'm anywhere near an artist.

This is a heads up that I made several changes to the first four chapters. It is nothing major, just a few enhancements of details based on some feedback I recently received from soneone. It mostly involved minor details that I had neglected to include about Meeki's comprehension of herself several characters.

I've updated the schedule to reflect my recent decision to take a "day" off to prepare various items. You'll see plenty of blurbs on the next bunch of chapters, but I kept the spoilers as low as possible. Still, I think it can be interested to let a little bit of information go, so people can speculate.

Later on, possibly tomorrow, I'll make a blug post regarding some writing tools I have made use of in the past. I think it will be most informative. For the moment I'm just doing my best to keep up with the schedule.

After considerably large amounts of revision, Chapter 13 is now available for your reading.

Because this marks the last chapter that will be included in Issue 2, I will have to skip Saturday's release in order to do a few things. First, I need to catch up with some work that I've been falling behind in. Second is going through my drafts and doing some final polishing before I send in for a proof copy of the new book. Due to the lack of a Saturday chapter release, I'll probably find some other way to keep you entertained. But I'm not much of a joker, so I'll probably fail. We'll see.
